The Bucs prove they are alive and well after a tough non-district schedule winning in dominant fashion over district foe Quapaw.The Bucs scored 14 in the first, 16 in the second and 14 more in the second half on their way to an impressive 44-0 shutout of the Quapaw Wildcats. The Buccaneers amassed just under 400 yards total rushing, chewing up 170 on the ground and 222 through the air. Cayden Duvall was 8/12 passing for 222 yards, scoring 3 touchdowns. Clayton Lopeman was the leading rusher with 68 yards and Mathew Gottman was the leading receiver with 38 yards and a touchdown. Lucas Kieth added a touchdown of his own and Westyn Freeman electrified the crowd with a 62 yard pick six.A stout Buccaneer defense kept the Cats out of the end zone led by 8 tackles from sophomore Kace Tautfest and a punt block by defense lineman Gavin Ward. All to the delight of a nice crowd that made the over 3 hour trip.This Friday the Bucs look to improve their 2-2 record to 3-2 and 2-0 in district play.
