The Bucs lost to non-district Fairview 44-18 on the road Friday night.The Bucs tried to hang tough in the Class A “Game of the Week,” but the Yellowjackets’ quick strike offense proved a little too much, scoring on the first play of both halves on long passes.The Bucs had two strikes of their own behind the strong running of Cayden Duvall keeping the Bucs in the game through the first half.Down 21-12 at the half the Bucs’ hope for a comeback faded some with Fairview’s opening play of the half.The Bucs did get some hope with an interception but promptly gave it right back effectively ending comeback chances.The Bucs host highly ranked Stroud on Friday night at 7:00. District play begins the following week with Homecoming vs. Caney Valley on Oct 4th.
