Tonkawa will participate in the Class 3A Regional Wrestling
Tournament at Geary Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21-22.
The top six placers at each weight qualify for the Class 3A State
Tournament, held Feb. 28-29 at the Oklahoma City fairgrounds arena.
Wrestling will get under way at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days at Geary..
Event schedule follows:
First Session: Friday, 11 a.m.; Championship – 1st Round and
Quarterfinals; Consolation – 1st Round
Second Session: Friday, 5:00 p.m.; Championship – Semifinals;
Consolation – 2nd Round
Third Session: Saturday, 11 a.m.; Consolation – Quarterfinals,
Semifinals
Fourth Session: Saturday, 5:00 p.m.; Championship finals, consolation finals, and 5th & 6th place matches wrestled simultaneously on three mats.

Hannah Haley first in 3200m run
Tonkawa girls finished ninth as a team in the Enid/Chisholm Indoor track event held at the Garfield County Expo Center Saturday, Feb. 15, according to Head Coach Kurt Kirtley.
Hannah Haley, Jocelyn Kuhlmann, Gloria Reyes and Katie Qualls all participated.
Hannah Haley finished first in the 3200 meter run and medaled in the long jump.
