Heat acclamation week starts Monday, Aug. 3rd at 9:00 a.m., Tonkawa Buc Head Football Coach Mike Kirtley announced this week.
All high school football players need to be there, he said.
Limited practice begins Monday, Aug. 10th at a time to be determined. All players need a signed physical. Forms can be picked up at the High School.
The limited practice will include shorts and helmets only.
Full practices with full pads will begin aug. 14.
According to the OSSAA, zero week will be aug. 27-29 and football opens for junior varsity and junior high aug. 31. Football opens for varsity Sept. 3.
The Bucs will scrimmage Hominy here Aug. 21 and will open the season at Newkirk Thursday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m.
