Tonkawa boys are Cherokee Tournament champions and the girls are runners-up in, by far, their best showing of the 2022 season so far.Besides getting team hardware, three were honored individually.Dante Mendoza won most valuable player of the tournament for Tonkawa and Chazz Slavens was chosen to the alltourney team.Karlee Jacobs was chosen to the all-tourney team for the girls.
