The Northern Oklahoma College Mavs split a pair of conference softball games with Rich Mountain (AR) on Monday.
The Mavs won the first game 8-3 and lost the nightcap 14-6.
In Game 1, Lynsey Ailey hit her 18th home run of the season and pitched a complete game in the circle as NOC beat Rich Mountain 8-3.
The Mavs trailed 3-0 and then scored eight unanswered runs.
Ailey’s two run home run in the third seem to spark the Mavs who then scored in every inning. Maggie Landes, Aubrey Meyers, Jasmine Warriner, and Ailey had two hits each for NOC. War

Ailey allowed one earned run on six hits while striking out 11.
In Game 2, Rich Mountain jumped out to a 13-0 lead and coasted to a 14-6 win.
Meyers had three hits while Megan Bellar added two hits for NOC.
Molly Myers, Shay Cushenbery, Bellar, and Sidney Webb worked in the circle for the Mavs.
Monday’s win in Game 1 was coach Tori Wilde’s 100 as a head coach (Pawnee High School and NOC).
The Mavs host NEO on Thursday at 2 p.m.
