The eighth graders continued the Tonkawa dominance over Blackwell Monday night with a 34-14 win over the Maroons.Next up for midhi teams will be Alva here next Monday, Sept. 25 with the seventh graders playing at 4:30 p.m. followed by the eighth grade game.Asher Saludares scored three touchdowns for the Bucs in the win. He had runs of 60, 36 and 27 yards for scores. A.J. Johnson ran for the first PAT and caught a pass from quarterback Maddex Ewy for the second PAT. A.J. Johnson scored the other two TD’s -- A 60 yard pass from Ewy followed up by a 25 yard pass for the final TD.Bodie Swords had a near interception. Carter Lopeman had one interception and a recovery of an onside kick.
