Wayne Stacy Muegge, 76, of Eucha, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Wayne was born November 16, 1947 to Murl “Son” and Jewel T. Muegge. Wayne grew up in Lamont, Oklahoma participating in football, FFA, and other activities, graduating from Lamont High School in 1966. After graduation, Wayne joined the United States Marine Corps proudly serving his country for four years. After serving in the Marines, Wayne returned to Lamont where he settled in and began working for Lewis Mann Plumbing. Later, Wayne purchased the business and started M&M Plumbing where he would work as an area plumber and service surrounding communities until his retirement later in life. Wayne was an active member of the Lamont volunteer fire department for 30 years and was acting Chief prior to his retirement. Wayne was also a member of the JayCee’s, the VA, and always willing to lend a helping hand throughout the community. He is survived by Robert Muegge of Lamont, Darrin Muegge of Eucha, LaDonna Steelmon and Mike Curfman of Lamont, and Sherry Walford of Enid. He was also blessed with ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.Celebration of life will be Saturday, April 13th consisting of a luncheon from 11:30am-1:30pm at the American Legion in Lamont with graveside service at the Lamont cemetery at 2:00pm.
