Out of 3,000 entries in the AFR poster contest, Tonkawa Elementary School had two students selected as one of the top 100 posters. The top 100 posters will be on display during the 2020 AFR convention. Chris Davis (right) and Avery Shultz (left) were winners from Tonkawa Elementary School. Christopher Davis is a second grader in Mrs. Means classroom. He is the son of Laura Davis. Avery Shultz is a third grader in Mrs. Shepherd’s classroom. She is the daughter of Chad and Nikki Shultz. AFR stands for American Farmers and Ranchers. It is an insurance company and a cooperative. Scott Blubaugh Insurance is who promoted the poster contest at the school.
