Hello Tonkawa,I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I am Casey Boland, and I am running for Tonkawa School Board seat #2. I am a proud Tonkawa Alum (2003. I believe in God, Family, and Country. I know without a shadow of doubt that God saved my life back in November 2001. Most will remember me as the kid who broke his back and neck during our playoff game against Kansas. It was a miracle for me to walk again, and then God blessed me with being able to play the very next year. That alone taught me that all things are possible with HIS help and to never give up.I hold dear to me the value of tradition and pursuit of excellence. I know what it means to be a BUCCANEER, and that is why Mikki and I moved back into the Tonkawa school district four years ago. I am a dad of two amazing children. Cabrey (12) is in the sixth grade and is involved in Vocal, softball, basketball, and track. Jett (6) is a kindergartener and loves all things BUCS. He plays baseball, wrestles, and cannot wait to be a Buccaneer football and basketball player.So why run for school board?I have a personal interest in preserving and improving the quality of our school system.I want to make Tonkawa Public Schools GREAT!G - GrowthGrow in education, parentship with teachers and parents.
