Top scholars for the Class of Tonkawa High School were announced this week by Principal Kyle Simpson.
There are four valedictorians and no salutatorians.
They are:

While graduation ceremonies have not been announced yet, members of the 2020 Tonkawa senior graduating class have been announced. Simpson said they are hoping to have a tradition commencement, even as late as June or July.

About Valedictorians... Regan Mulligan
Regan is the daughter of Bob Mulligan and Marcy Mulligan, and the sister of Dylan Simpson. She is the granddaughter of Harry and Phyllis Jackson of Valentine and the late Bob and Mary Mulligan of Valentine. Regan has been a ball girl for four years and mat maid for three years and was football Homecoming Queen this fall. She has been a member of student council and humanitarian club for four years and is the Vice President of National Honor Society. After graduation, Regan plans to further her education and pursue a degree in nursing at Northwestern Oklahoma State University next fall.
Ashton Linton
Ashton Linton is the daughter of Jimmy and Michelle Linton of Tonkawa. She is the older sister to SaVannah and Easton Linton. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Betty Davis and Jim and Pam Linton all of Tonkawa. Ashton has played softball for four years and basketball for one year. Ashton has been a football cheerleader for four years and a baseball manager for three years. She is in Extended Studies and is involved in the Humanitarian Club. Ashton is a Student Council Representative and is the president of the National Honors Society. This year, Ashton is a member of state superintendent Joy Hofmeister’s Student Advisory Council.
