Buccaneers Put It All Together, Defeat Chilocco Indians There, 31-0, On Friday The Chilocco Indians fell in a hard-charging, fired-up band of rampaging Tonkawa Buccaneers, 31-0, Friday night on their home ground in a game that saw the Bucs take an early lead and were never threatened.The Bucs not only dominated the scoring on two touchdowns each in the first and second periods and one in the third, but they outgained the Indians 227-21 yards on the ground and 57-5 passing yards.Leading ground gainer for the Bucs was fullback Dennis Ailey with 92 yards on 16 carries. He was followed by John Unruh with 67 yards on nine carries and sophomore Shon Simpson with 34 yards on four carries.Offensively the Bucs started Curtis Muegge and Mark Detten at ends; Brent Bradford and Tom Allen at tackles; Jay Laramy and Rusty Storm at guards; Frank Klufa, center; Kevin Steichen, quarterback; John Unruh and Warren Deal, halfbacks and Dennis Ailey, fullback. Shon Simpson played a defensive back and Tony Patterson played the end position in place of Myron Davis, who had a sprained ankle and did not play.Other Bucs who saw action in the game were Duane Green, Ron Magner, Dan Hoover, Larry Case, Mike Ross, Rick Jeans, Ben Gessel, Terry Allen, Danny Wood, Don Gonzales, Roger Conaghan, David Shearer, and Gary Fruits.Brad Smith missed the game due to sickness.Football Upsets Make It Difficult for ContestantsAnother week of upsets failed to deter the football entrants who did considerably better this week. The winner of the $7.50 cash first prize missed only three games and is Arlene Schatz. She missed the three upsets, Purdue over Notre Dame, Colorado over Wisconsin and Texas Tech over Texas.Five persons missed four games and the winner of second place money 45 on the basis of the best score in the tie-breaker is Sherrie Schatz.
