In celebration of Red Ribbon Week,Tonkawa Elementary held a special coloring contest to encourage students to learn about the importance of staying drugfree. Students from all grade levels eagerly participated, using their creativity to bring the Red Ribbon Week theme, 'I’m Proud to Be Drug Free!,' to life.After careful consideration, the teachers selected three talented young artists as the winners for each grade level and then anonymous judges picked the top winner from each grade level: ● Pre-K Winner: Aniyah Banks ● Kindergarten Winner: Elma Johnson ● 1st Grade Winner: Luna Thomas ● 2nd Grade Winner: Cooper Grubbs ● 3rd Grade Winner: Evelynn Gottman ● 4th Grade Winner: Copper Kelley ● 5th Grade Winner: Skye Rodriguez Each winner received recognition during school announcements and a small prize.Principal Garcia shared, “We are so proud of all the students who participated. They showed incredible creativity and commitment to living a drug-free life.
