The grants for the 2021/2022 school year were recently awarded by the Tonkawa Education Foundation. These grants, applied for by Tonkawa public school educators including the elementary, middle and high schools, were funded by TEF for an amount totaling more than $7,400.00. The Tonkawa Education Foundation was established in 2000 to support the students of the Tonkawa Public Schools by awarding grants for items or projects that are not supported by public allocations. Individual donations, memorials and business campaigns continue to help grow the balance of this endowment fund. The TEF board is formed by volunteers from the Tonkawa community.
