The new Tonkawa Aquatic Center has been a great source of entertainment, exercise, and a way to beat the heat this past summer, but the time to close their doors for the season is quickly approaching. This weekend, August 31 and September 1 will be the very last days for the community to enjoy the pool until next year.From parties to just daily pool goers, the community has been able to enjoy the facility throughout its open season. The center’s managers and lifeguards have made the facility run smoothly and been excellent with keeping all those in attendance safe while they were having their fun in the sun.Individual day pricing for the community is $2 for children 2 and under, $3 for children from 3 to 17 years old, $4 for those 18 to 64 years old, and $2 for any goers 65 and older. Make your way to the Tonkawa Aquatics Center this weekend to celebrate their last weekend open before their season comes to a close. The facility is open from noon to 5 pm on weekends and is located at 801 N Main, behind Blinn Park.
