Titeana Lewis and Gabriela Amaya (left), students in the Medical Assisting program and both from Ponca City, show examples of crafts from their booth and others at Pioneer Tech’s first annual Holiday Market on Thursday, November 21st. The tech center raised over $5,600 during the event while, in conjunction, the Culinary Arts program served around 250 lunches at their annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Terri Busch, Communications and Marketing Coordinator who assisted with planning the event shared, “There was so much happening on our campus on Thursday; it was really exciting to see the community pour into our facility for lunch and the Holiday Market. We are so grateful for their support of our student organizations. We had an amazing team of people set-up and price items and then, of course, the talented students and staff who crafted such beautiful creations. It’s definitely going to be an annual event!” For more information about Pioneer Technology Center’s programs and initiatives, call 580-762-8336 or visit their website www.pioneertech.edu.
