Stacy Burns and Scott Klufa are Tonkawa’s newest city councilmen. Burns won the at-large post over Joe Kingery, 282-88. Klufa won the ward four post over incumbent Rick Allan by a 196-172 margin.
Results by precinct follow:
Absentee -- 5 for Burns, 1 for Kingery; 6 for Klufa, zero for Allan.
Methodist Church -- 138 for Burns, 62 for Kingery; 105 for Klufa and 93 for Allan.
Church of Christ -- 139 for Burns, 25 for Kingery; 85 for Klufa, 79 for Allan.
Results are unoffocial until Friday when the Kay County Election Board certifies the results.
