Jones led the Mavs with 13 points while Elijah Pickens added 11.The Mavs led 69-66 with :09.3 left when Seminole’s Israel Hart scored to cut the lead to 69-68. The Trojans then forced a Maverick turnover and Hart then hit a baseline jumper to give the Trojans the 70-69 win.“I didn’t think we executed like we had first semester,” said coach Brad Witherspoon. “Credit to Seminole. We didn’t help ourselves by missing free throws and making a couple big mistakes late”NOC jumped out to a hot start building an early 19-7 and led 28-18 before Seminole went on a 10-0 run to tie the game at 28-28. The Mavs led 35-32 at half. The two teams traded leads in the second half with Seminole building a 55-49 lead before NOC rallied to tie the game at 61-61.
