Dear Tonkawa Public Schools
Please accept this letter as my official resignation as a 4th grade teacher with the Tonkawa Elementary School. My final day of employment will be May 20, 2021. After much contemplation, I have made this decision ultimately to better my family. This would eliminate the hour drive my family has to endure every day to go to work. This decision would allow my family the opportunity of seeing and being with each other more.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here in Tonkawa. I have met some of the most amazing and impactful people in this small town. It has been an honor to have had the opportunity to impact the lives of so many children to my fellow teachers and administrators, it has been a pleasure to learn from each of you. If it were not for them, I would not have grown into the teacher I am today. It is truly an honor to have known all of you. Tonkawa is blessed with the best of the best.
I will work hard in my final days of employment to complete all of the required paperwork and duties assigned to me. I will insure that all of the students have a wonderful and fun-filled time for their end of the year activities to celebrate their success and hardwork. I am happy to assist in making this transition as seamless as possible. I truly cannot thank Tonkawa for the best two years of my teaching career. I will miss this town and school very much.
Sincerely.
Bethany Farmer
