Tonkawa school board members Monday night approved the hiring of Megan Simpson as a substitute teacher.In other action, board members Casey McAninch, Jerry Hook, Brian Bowling and Nancy Appleman (Tyler Langston was absent): -- Approved a request for payment to BancFirst to pay Renaissance Architecture for phase one and phase two cafeteria bond issue in the amount of $120,300.58.-- Approved expenditures totalling $103,757.65 with $102,657.65 from the general fund and $1,100 from the child nutrition fund.-- Approved the naming of activity account 836 from Humantarian Club to Art and Humanities Club.
