Pioneer Area Quilter’s Guild will meet for their Annual Spring
Luncheon on Monday, May 6, at St. Paul’s United Methodist
Church, 1904 N. Pecan, in Ponca City. Please bring a prepared dish to serve 10-12 people by 10:30 a.m. Make sure it is ready to serve, as the church’s oven/stove cannot be used. Also bring a serving utensil and the recipe to share.
Each member is asked to bring personal care items and toiletries that will be donated to the New Emergency Resource Agency
(NERA) for use with their clients. These items may include: toilet paper (highly requested), Kleenex, paper towels, sanitary pads, bar soap (Ivory is recommended since it is perfume free and hypoallergenic), hand lotion, toothpaste, and deodorant. (Make-up and perfume are not desired.) One may also bring cash donations. NERA is often able to purchase items at a reduced cost.
There will be a brief business meeting after the 11:00 a.m. lunch, and follow that with a Show & Share time. During this lunch meeting the group will have the drawing for this year’s beautiful handmade donation quilt.
