Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa hosted a Math Inquiry Project (MIP) workshop Friday at the Cultural Engagement Center inside the Pickens Learning Common.The project is an Oklahoma State University grant through the National Science Foundation. MIP is a statewide collaboration among mathematics faculty in Oklahoma to improve entry-level undergraduate mathematics instruction through three guiding principles: active learning, meaningful applications, and academic success skills. Attending from NOC were Wendy O’Neill, Cassie Firth, Dee Cooper, Courtney Miller, Karri Morrill, Stephani Spurlock, Cecil Phibbs, Lynn DeMuth, Kathy Shamburg, and Christi Hook. Other colleges represented were NWOSU and OU.
