Northern Oklahoma College is hosting the annual Distinguished Alumni Banquet Saturday, March 27 at the Renfro Center at NOC Tonkawa.
The event will honor distinguished alums from 2020 and 2021.
The 2021 alums include Evelyn Coyle (Class of 1951) and Dr. Justin Funk (Class of 2005).
The 2020 alums include Risha Grant (Class of 1994), Marta Sullivan (Class of 1996), and Jon Kissinger (NOC Enid Class of 2002). Coyle, NOC Class of 1951, is a civic and community leader currently residing in Tonkawa while Funk, NOC Enid Class of 2005, is an optometrist residing in Enid. Grant is a motivational speaker and author from Tulsa. Sullivan is the retired Chief Executive Officer of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, and Jon Kissinger, Scholastic Representative-Herff Jones Oklahoma. The banquet is Saturday, March 27 at 6 p.m. at the Renfro Center on the NOC Tonkawa campus. Registration will be held at 5:30 p.m. Hor d’oeuvres will be served.
The award recognizes the achievements of former students whose personal lives, professional achievements and community service exemplify the objectives of college. Seating is limited due to COVID-19 guidelines, NOC is practicing Social Distancing. Face masks are required. The NOC Roustabouts will be performing two Annual Benefit Shows at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Cost for the performances are $10 per ticket.
