Northern Oklahoma College’s “Woodworking Class,” a community enrichment course, begins Thursday, March 12 on the NOC campus.
Instructor Rick Allan said classes will begin Thursday, March 12 and continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 28. The class will not meet over Spring Break (March 16-20). Participants will meet in the woodshop located in the Creative Arts Building on the Tonkawa campus from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The class offers community members and NOC students a great opportunity to build that special project but didn’t have the space or equipment needed to complete it.
The cost is $55, not including materials. Class members may either bring their own materials or purchase them in the class.
NOC’s large shop and large array of woodworking equipment and tools will be available to those who attend this class.
NOC community enrichment classes are non-credit courses and have no grades, tests or attendance requirements. Students enroll March 12 at the first class. The first session is for students to discuss projects and order materials. For more information, contact Allan at (580) 628-6225 or rick.allan@noc.edu.
