Auditions are open for the spring musical at Northern Oklahoma College. This year ROCK OF AGES will be hitting the Kinzer Performing Arts stage and everyone is ready to rock this show. Auditions for those who would like to be a part of the magic will be held Monday, January 13 in the Choir Room at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.Requirements for those auditioning are to choose a good cut, anywhere from 1 to 2 minutes, from an 80s rock song, one of similar style, or a song from the show itself. They are asked to bring an accompaniment track, no piano accompanists for this audition, and many good tracks can be found on Youtube. The signups will begin at 6 pm in the lobby/green room. Those auditioning are welcome to bring a resume and headshot if they have one available to them. If the NOC Performing Arts Department feels that the person auditioning could be a good fit in this musical, they could be asked to stay and do a callback that very same evening.The performance dates for this show will be from March 6 through 9 and the cast and crew must be available for all performances.There will be about 16 characters in need of their actors and actresses for this musical. The people with the NOC Performing Arts are ready to see these characters come to life on the Kinzer Performing Arts stage.
