The Heart in the Park committee invites the community to join us for the February Full Moon Walk on Saturday, February 27th at 7:30 p.m. at the Labyrinth. Come walk around the heart of red lights! Hope to see you there!
Town hall forum slated March 18
The Chamber is sponsoring a Town Hall Forum for the City Council election. It will be held from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 18 at the First National Bank Heritage Room. The public is asked to send their questions to the chamber office (102 E. Grand) by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2021.
Legislative breakfast Friday
The Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce legislative breakfast will be Friday, Feb. 26, 7 a.m. at Mary’s Grill, 114 E. Grand, Tonkawa. Breakfast will be available. Speakers will be Sen. Bill Coleman and Rep. John Pfeiffer.
Seating limited at Event Center
Seating will be limited at all sporting activities held in the Tonkawa Event Center, Principal Kyle Simpson announced. All home ball games will be admission by ticket only. Each player on each team will be given four tickets each to hand out as they see fit.

Get your Tonkawa Buc face masks!
A new shipment of Tonkawa Buccaneer face masks are available at the Central Office at the Tonkawa Mid-Hi/Highschool site. Masks may be purchased for $10 each Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Go Bucs!!
No computers at library
Until further notice, the Tonkawa Public Library will no longer offer access to public computers. This is a precaution taken to keep both the patrons and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The library building is open only for those wishing to check out or return materials, fax, or have copies made. The library building is not available for the following activities: Sitting, resting, chatting, studying, meetings, cell phone use, laptop or tablet use.
Donate to weight room project
The Tonkawa Alumni Association is conducting a fund drive for the 2019 weight room project for Buccaneer athletics, president David Fruits said this week. Make checks payable to the Tonkawa Alumni Association, P.O. Box 12, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
