Need some new Buc gear? sunday, Sept. 20 from 2-4 p.m. in front of the concession stand, the Tonkawa Quarterback Club will have all of its merchandise available -- cowbells, koozies, car decals, pop sockets, car flags, shirts and hoodies. shirts and hoodies will be on sale, according to Catie Caldwell Randall.
Flu shot clinic set Sept. 24th
The Wheatheart Nutrition Site at 118 S. Seventh has reopened and will offer a flu shot clinic thursday, Sept. 24.
The shots will be administered by Derrick Jones of Family Discount Pharmacy and will be drive-thru only from noon to 2 p.m. Everyone must be wearing a mask.
Shots are free with Medicare or other insurance (Bring your card for verification). Cost without insurance or Medicare is $30.

A new shipment of Tonkawa Buccaneer face masks are in just in time for the home football game Friday night. Spirit masks are available at the Central Office at the Tonkawa Mid-Hi/Highschool site. Masks may be purchased for $10 each Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Go Bucs!!

No computers at library
Until further notice, the Tonkawa Public Library will no longer offer access to public computers. This is a precaution taken to keep both the patrons and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The library building is open only for those wishing to check out or return materials, fax, or have copies made.
The library building is not available for the following activities: Sitting, resting, chatting, studying, meetings, cell phone use, laptop or tablet use.
Methodists accepting furniture only
Donations for the First United Methodist Church Thrift Sale in Tonkawa are no longer being accepted at this time, with the exception of FURNITURE. If you have any furniture items that you would like to drop off, please call the church office at 580-628-2309, or Meredith Williamson 580-716-2141. The date for the Thrift Sale is still unknown, but will be advertised as soon as times allow.
