This new bus was bought by The Tonkawa Tribe for the Tonkawa Public School system at a cost of over $80,000. The tribe, under the leadership of Russell Martin, has also bought many other items to help with the opening of the new school sesson beginning aug. 13. The sign on the bus reads as follows: “Thank you for gifting Tonkawa students with a new bus! Your partnership in education is greatly appreciated.”
