The annual Lucky Duck Derby sponsored by the Tonkawa High School Alumni Association will be held on Tuesday, July 4th, immediately following the parade downtown Tonkawa. The Alumni has partnered with the Tonkawa Masonic Lodge for the project.It will be held on the canal on West Grand Avenue, one half block west of the Christian Church.You may adopt a duck for the derby at the First National Bank, Farmer’s Exchange Bank, Chamber Office, Sarah Campbell’s dentist office, The Final Cut, from Reta Swords, Duck Derby Chairman, phone number 58-628-1833, and at Venture Foods on Saturday, June 24th, through Sunday, July 2nd.Proceeds go toward THS Senior scholarships and THS projects.The cost to adopt a duck for the Derby is $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.
