Twelve individuals from the Tonkawa area will be selected from applications for “Leadership Tonkawa”, an eight-month program intended to better acquaint them with the Tonkawa community, its services, opportunities and people.The class is sponsored by the Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce and will meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month starting in September. Scott Cloud and Rex Ackerson announced that applications and information are available at the Chamber office.The purpose of the 2024-2025 Leadership program is to encourage those who become (or who are already) involved to use their talents in leadership capacities to benefit the community.If you are interested in meeting more people in the community and networking with others, please contact the Chamber office for an application, 580-628-2220 or stop by 109 E.
