Don Muegge and Dennis Skaggs were among 13 Oklahoma bankers inducted into the Oklahoma Bankers Association 50-Year Club during the awards brunch at the OBA’s 125th Convention on May 20 at the Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City.The club is comprised of individuals who’ve devoted 50 years or more of service to Oklahoma’s banking industry. The OBA is proud to recognize this special group of banking professionals who’ve dedicated themselves to this profession and contributed so much to this industry.Muegge and Skaggs are both with The State Exchange Bank in Lamont: Muegge is chairman and Skaggs is a member of the board of directors.This year’s other honorees were Eric Bohne, Security Bank, Tulsa; Ken Fergeson, NBC Oklahoma, Oklahoma City; Roy Ferguson, BancFirst, Tulsa; Denver Davison, Vision Bank, Ada; Linda Dyer, Farmers Bank, Carnegie; Mick George, COREBANK, Waynoka; Janis Hodges, BancFirst, Oklahoma City; Joe Landon, American Bank of Oklahoma, Collinsville; Carlisle Mabrey III, Mabrey Bank, Bixby; Kelley Rash, AVB Bank, Broken Arrow; and Steve Thompson, Quail Creek Bank, Oklahoma City.
