The Tonkawa High School Senior Class of 2021 got to take the long awaited “Free” ACT that was scheduled for March of 2020.The Event Center has been transformed into a testing center to accommodate testing from 3rd-12th grade . All tests are taken online. The chrome books and desks were purchased with CARES Act Grants. Each year, juniors are given the opportunity to participate in the ACT without costs to the student. This is provided by the State Department of Education. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, testing was cancelled last spring. Thanks to the generosity of the SDE, seniors and juniors will all take the free exam this spring. In April, the Event Center was used for the Oklahoma State Testing Program for grades 3-8.
