Jillian Conaghan was awarded the 2019 Staff Advisory Council Distinguished Service Award.
Two members of Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) were recognized at the annual Staff Advisory Council (SAC) awards ceremony.
She is a 2003 graduate of Tonkawa high school. Her husband Brian is an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper.
She is the daughter of John and Debbie McIntyre, Tonkawa.
Each year, SAC recognizes staff members that go above and beyond their assigned responsibilities by presenting the Distinguished Service Award to one OSU staff member. This year there were 18 nominees presented to the council by way of nomination from fellow staff members. The council reviewed each nomination and decided on the top three nominees.
This year’s top three included two CEAT staff members, Joey Ailey, a senior accounting specialist with CEAT Professional Development, and Jillian Conaghan, the manager of the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress.
Conaghan was this year’s recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. She is a respectful, thoughtful and effective leader. She is unfailingly cheerful, upbeat and positive in every interaction. She is continually striving to improve her professional skills and is always willing to go above and beyond to help in any way she can.
