She is a Tonkawa Leadership Class Alumni and a Chamber Past President. She has represented Tonkawa over the years by serving on the Pioneer Tech small business incubator advisory board, the NFIB-Leadership Council, and many committees over the years. She currently sits on the Pioneer Tech Culinary Advisory Board. She is no stranger to giving back or helping where needed especially coming from a family that has instilled the importance of always being a good neighbor.Giving back is second nature for her but especially as Co-owner of Mary’s Grill over the last six years. She has opened the doors on many a Sunday to help the Ag Youth raise money towards their projects, or to support Girls and Boys State, or just local community members needing help in times of a catastrophic event. She has a tough time saying no for those in need and sponsors many other organizations in our little community from Softball to Bowling.Carol has always taken the approach of finding the positive in any situation which makes her a standout with the Pride she shows in our community. Just having an open door and a glass half full attitude allows any of us to be of service which reflects the service attitude Carol displays day in and day out.
