Candy Oller, has been named Director of Development and Donor Relations replacing Jill Green. She assumed her new duties Jan. 4.Oller is located in the Vineyard Library Administration Building on the Tonkawa campus and will report directly to Sheri Snyder, Vice President for Development and Community Relations.As Director of Development and Donor Relations, Oller will serve on the Development team, have direct responsibility for planning and executing a comprehensive annual giving program, creating and maintaining relationships, and cultivate donors. In addition, she will play a key role in most Development activities. While a full-time NOC employee, this position is funded through the Northern Oklahoma College Foundation, Inc. and will serve as a member of the NOC Foundation Board of Trustees.Sheri Snyder, Vice President for Development and Community Relations said, “Over these past ten years, Candy has had proven success in her various roles in the Development office at Northern. Through her dedication and passion, she will continue to help the Foundation grow.”Originally from Billings, Oklahoma, Candy received her Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Northern Oklahoma College and her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Candy has worked for NOC for 10 years, the last 5 as Gift Processing Coordinator for the Foundation. While at NOC, Oller has served on the Strategic Plan Task Force Committee, Professional Development Committee, the Wellness Committee, and Secretary to the NOC Foundation Board of Trustees. Oller is currently serving as the Secretary to the KUP (Kay Electric Cooperative) Foundation Board, a member of the Noble County ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) Funds Committee, and Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is a graduate of the Noble County Leadership and the Tonkawa Steichen Leadership classes. In her spare time, Candy enjoys spending time with her husband Clint of 40 years, sons and families Colt Oller, wife Ashley and 3-year-old grandson Creed of Alva, and Cade Oller of Piedmont. Other favorite pastimes are reading, walking her dogs at the farm, and browsing around antique and thrift stores, flea markets, and craft shows.
