Hello Tonkawa!This will be our first full week back at school! Last week we had a two-day week—a small taste of the year to come.In this short time wrestling homecoming and a tournament and a basketball tournament ensued. Luke Shepherd and Reagan Campbell were crowned for wrestling, and the wrestlers won the homecoming dual. They will go against Pawhuska on Tuesday and will have district duals on Thursday. Girls wrestling will have a dual at Ponca City on Tuesday as well.Boys basketball won third in the Medford tournament and girls received fourth.They will play on Tuesday at Frontier and have homecoming on Friday against Woodland. The basketball homecoming court includes Ryan Morgan, Dominic Grein, Cooper Braden, Whitley Johnson, Sierra Funk, and Maddy Randall. As both wrestling and basketball homecomings fall so close together, there will be dress up days for students. Monday will be flannel day, Tuesday will be decade day, Wednesday will be jersey day, Thursday will be crazy sock day, and Friday of course will be Buc Pride Day!Be sure to partake in these celebrations of school spirit!
