Hey Tonkawa!
On Saturday, June 20, the THS Class of 2020 will officially graduate. The ceremony will be live-streamed at 11 a.m. for all who would like to watch. Let’s get as many people on the stream as we can! We are “throwing our hats through video-chat!”
It means so much to me that our wonderful school is making this happen for us. I could not be more grateful for the effort and time that was put in to make sure we can have a formal graduation. I am sure everyone knows how much this really means to me. Thank you all so very much.
The Class of 2020 has been waiting for this since May, and now it is only a few days away. I am beyond excited to finally be able to walk across the stage. When the pandemic first broke out, I was devastated at the news of graduation being cancelled, and could only hope that it would eventually go on as planned. Now, here we are.
There are thousands of seniors across the country who do not get to have their graduation and my heart aches for them. THS Class of 2020, we are some of the lucky ones. Be thankful. We have a community behind us that supports us through thick and thin. Be thankful. We have a school willing to give their all to make sure we graduate as we planned. Be thankful.
Have a great week, everyone! Go Bucs!
