City library is closed
Due to Covid-19 the Tonkawa Public Library will be closed until further notice.

The Heart in the Park committee would like to remind the community that the April Full Moon is Tuesday April 7th. People are invited to walk at their own leisure after 8:30 p.m. or anytime and enjoy the evening fresh air. Practice social distancing.
Methodists accepting furniture only
Donations for the First United Methodist Church Thrift Sale in Tonkawa are no longer being accepted at this time, with the exception of FURNITURE. If you have any furniture items that you would like to drop off, please call the church office at 580-628-2309, or Meredith Williamson 580-716-2141. The date for the Thrift Sale is still unknown, but will be advertised as soon as times allow.
PTC Foundation Dinner Postponed
The Pioneer Technology Center Foundation Roast has been postponed and a new date will be determined in the future. Lori Evans with Pioneer Tech will be contacting all those who purchased tickets. Flight breakfast for April 4th cancelled
The Ponca City Flight breakfast for April 4th has been cancelled. The meal is served at the municipal airport the first Saturday of each month at a cost of $8.
City-wide garage sales cancelled
The City Wide Garage Sales scheduled for April 4, 2020 has been CANCELLED. The Chamber of Commerce might reschedule for May 2, 2020, but no decision has been made as of now. The next scheduled garage sale is the first Saturday in August if anyone ask.
Conoco retirees plan Spring Fling
The ConocoPhillips Retiree Association Spring Fling Picnic for Conoco, ConocoPhillips, and Phillips66 retirees and spouses will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Wentz Camp Dining Hall. Come join your past co-workers and friends for a picnic lunch of Snyder’s chicken and sides, visiting, catching up, laughing and fun.
