The crowd was filled with Tonkawa residents during the latest Full Moon Concert as Brandon Haynes and The Guys performed. Foots were tapping and people were dancing with each new song in the band’s eclectic mix on Sunday, August 18.Those in attendance were able to hear and enjoy a wide range of music including pop, punk, and a number of favorites from the past. The band is comprised of Brandon Haynes on vocals and piano, Brad Mason on percussion and drums, John Shwayat on the bass guitar, Hunter Vogele on drums, percussion, and guitar, Axel Navarette on the synth and guitar, and finally Erik Willadsen on guitar. On top of the incredibly talented band, over a dozen NOC Roustabouts, past and present, performed with them as well.“The show was amazing! All the performers were so talented, it really showed what an impact music has on people. Dancing up there really showed me how amazing it feels to be a part of a family. I couldn’t have been proud for being a part of an amazing group,” said performer and NOC Alumni Edgar Dominguez The Full Moon Concert series is celebrating their 10th year and what better way to celebrate than with more incredible local performers, like Brandon Haynes and The Guys, as well as the NOC Roustabouts. Though this concert has already passed, don’t miss out on next month’s Full Moon Concert at Heart in the Park. Tuesday, September 17, the Hayes Brothers Band is scheduled to begin their performance at 6:30 pm for the familyfriendly outdoor concert series. Remember to bring your lawn chairs and have a good time at the next Full Moon Concert.
