The Billings Chamber of Commerce elected 2022 officers at their monthly meeting on Thursday, March 24th. President Lewain Learned welcomed those attending and led the group in the flag salute followed by a prayer led by Karen Culp. Roll call was taken and those attending the meeting were Lewain and Aimie Learned, Stephen Haynes, Candy Oller, Karen Culp, Eileen Learned, Tracy and Michelle Carter, Janet Barnhart, Rachel Silvey, Kayla Lyons, Levi Whitchurch, Kenadee and Bradley Karcher.Treasurer Karen Culp presented the financial report which was approved as presented. She also reported the 2022 membership drive was in progress and dues could be paid at Chamber meetings, First Bank and Trust-Billings and the Billings City Office during regular business hours. Eileen Learned reported the Welcome Wagon had visited Gary Swab and his son who recently moved to Billings. Candy Oller reported the Dylan Beaty family was the last family to receive the Yard of the Month.Election of officers was held. Those volunteering and elected by acclamation as the 2022 Chamber of Commerce officers are: President – Rachel Silvey, Vice-President – Levi Whitchurch, Secretary – Rachelle Beaty, Treasurer – Karen Culp, and Reporter – Kayla Lyons.The Billings Easter Egg Hunt was discussed. Rachel Silvey will chair the event. Donations of money, plastic eggs, and candy can be left at the Billings City Office during regular office hours. Over 1000 candy eggs will be hidden by the Easter Bunny and its helpers.
