The Billings Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Billings 33rd Annual Wheat Country Festival Saturday, October 8 in the Billings Community Center and on Main Street in downtown Billings, Oklahoma. The fun filled day will begin with the Billings FFA Booster Club Pancake Breakfast in the Billings Community Center from 7:00-9:00 a.m.Opening ceremonies for the festival will begin at 9:00 am. Live stage entertainment throughout the day will include performances from local talent Jayden Brown, Breanne Stevens and Billings School students followed by the Northern Oklahoma College Roustabouts and recording artist Robert Allen.Fun filled activities guaranteed to create nostalgia and excitement are scheduled for the day including the Billings Wheat Country Festival Parade featuring Antique Tractors, cars, farming equipment, floats, motorcycles and so much more!Other activities include a Round Haybale Decorating Contest, Kute Kid Revue, OHCE Bliss Homemakers Pie and Cake Auction, the announcement of and 30-40 vendor booths in the air-conditioned Community Center and outside. Carnival Games, and other activities including a Wheat Dig, Cornhole Tournament, Horseshoe Tournament, Bounce House, Hay Wagon Rides, Kid’s Barrell Train, Petting Zoo and more will provide enjoyable opportunities to young and old alike. The Renfrow-Miller Museum will be open for free tours and offer homemade bread and wild sand plum jelly available for purchase.Several food concessions provided by the Billings High School students and food trucks will be available and hoping to tempt the Festivalgoer’s palate including Indian Tacos, funnel cakes, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Grilled Corn on the cob, Strawberry Shortcake Cups, Sno-cones, Hamburgers, and BBQ from Johan’s BBQ Truck.
