The Tonkawa High School Alumni Association is in the planning stages of the Distinguished Alumni Luncheon. For the second time since COVID, it will be held in the THS Event Center the Saturday of Homcoming weekend, October 28-29. Mary’s Grill will cater the event. The 2022 honorees are Dr. Jonice Webb, Class of 1978; Dr. Michell Jeffries Keylon, Class of 1990; and Roger Patrick Johns, Class of 1972. Webb is an author and practicing psychologist. Keylon is superintendent of Francis Tuttle Technology Center, Oklahoma City; and Johns is retired from a career in the Oil & Gas Industry. A social hour will take place in the Event Center lobby October, 29 at 10:30 A.M, and the luncheon will begin at 11:30 A.M. All Alumni are invited to attend the social hour at no charge. Luncheon tickets are $25.00 each and can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, either bank, or from any Alumni Board member.
