On Saturday, March 7, 2020, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Inc. will host its 16th Annual Memorial Bowling Tournament at Ponca Bowl in Ponca City. “The Adult Squads will bowl at 2:00 PM or 6:00 PM,” states Amy Burdick, Hospice of North Central. “Each squad holds 24 teams and this tournament is a great way to come together and not only have fun but to also provide support to the only not-for-profit & community-owned hospice serving Kay County and parts of Grant, Noble and Osage Counties.”
For adults, it costs $20 per bowler or an entire of team of five bowlers for $100. Shoe rental is included and the tournament will include three games, as well as many door prizes. Individuals, groups, businesses, organizations and churches can sponsor a bowling lane “In Memory or In Honor of a loved one” for $100 with advertisement on the lane. Official sponsors for the 2019 tournament include D&P Tank Service, Colwell Heat & Air, Osage Casino, Equity Bank and First National Bank of Oklahoma and Dorada Foods.
Each year, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma highlights an individual who has been touched by the bowling community and/or the hospice organization. This year’s tournament is in memory of Coy Clifton. He has made a significant impact in the bowling community and we are humbled that his family has agreed to let us honor and remember him through this fundraising activity,” states Burdick.
