United States Marshal for Northern District of Oklahoma Clayton Johnson spoke to NOC Criminal Justice students recenlly..Johnson, an NOC graduate, has served law enforcement over 30 years as a police officer, police chief, and United States Marshal.He spoke to three criminal justice classes, the first he spoke about his journey to police chief and how NOC helped him achieve his goals.For the second class, he talked in depth about the function of the United States Marshal Service and tackles some myths about the marshal service.In the last class, he talked about the investigative processes of finding fugitives and the other types of marshal investigations.“We are so thankful that Clayton spoke to our students,” said NOC Criminal Justice Instructor Troy Cochran. “It gives them first-hand knowledge of all facets of law enforcement. He is a proud NOC alum and I am always excited when he speaks to our students.”After attending NOC, Johnson graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor and master’s degree in Criminal Justice Management. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.He has served 12 years as a US Marshal.Johnson was inducted into the NOC Alumni Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Hall of Fame in 2014.
