Taylor (McAreavey) Kaiser, daughter of Todd and Tracy McAreavey, earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine on May 21, 2021. The Hippocratic Oath and Hooding Ceremony was held at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma. Taylor graduated with high academic honors earning the designation of distinction on her diploma. She was also named to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Medical Society which is nationally recognized as an esteemed professional honor in medicine. In addition, Taylor received a distinguished Senior Award as the recipient of the Charles A. Carmack Anesthesiology Award which recognized exceptional student performance in her specialty field of practice. Taylor was actively involved with the OU Anesthesiology Department Externship for 2 years and served as Chief Extern of the program during her final year of medical school. Taylor and her husband, Travis Kaiser M.D., will spend the next 4 years in Oklahoma City where they couples matched Anesthesiology residency at OU College of Medicine.
