graduate James Tomek was chosen as a ProStart participant for the Odyssey de Culinaire fundraiser banquet. James worked with Chef Moosmiller, Certified Master Chef and Executive Chef for the Shangri La Resort and also pictured with him. Tomek’s part in the five-course meal and culinary experience was dessert. His instructor Brenda Pollak was also in attendance. She remarked,” This was such a great night. I wish James and the rest of the ProStart students the best of luck. If they are willing to show up, work hard, and move with purpose their possibilities are limitless.” Tomek plans to attend the Northwest Culinary Institute in Vancouver, Washington this October.
