“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart”. -Psalm 37:4
Just a thought... is it possible that the meaning of this verse is not about God giving us whatever we want, rather, it is about God changing the desires and dreams of our hearts from our own selfishness to Godliness? Could it be that God uses our devotion to God to transform our hearts and minds more in line with Gods?
Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way! Thou art the potter; I am the clay. Mold me and make me after thy will, while I am waiting, yielded and still. ~AMEN!
