Hey Tonkawa!
I am excited to be writing the Buc Blab this year. Some of you might know me since I have lived in Tonkawa my entire life, but if not, here is a bit about me. I have been a ball girl for the Buccaneer football team for four years, as well as track and field manager for two years, and basketball manager for one year. I am also a member of NHS, Extended Studies, and Humanitarian Club. I attend church at the First Baptist Church and am involved with the youth group there. In the evenings, I work as a teaching assistant in the tap, jazz and ballet classes at StudioK. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing games, and hanging out with my friends and my older sister, Kylie. I am the daughter of Laurie and Derek Ott and the granddaughter of Myrlene and Jay Willis and Carolyn and the late David Ott. I am looking forward to keeping you all up to date on what your Buccaneers are doing this year!
On a side note, I want to ask the Tonkawa community to pray for Kai Day and his family. Kai is a Junior at THS and was injured during last week’s football scrimmage. He and his family will need prayers for patience as he makes his full recovery. Your Buccaneer family loves you, Kai!
