County OK2A meeting Saturday
Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association - Kay County Chapter schedules the next meeting for Saturday, Nov. 28, at noon in New Hope Christian Fellowship, 401 S. Lincoln, Ponca City. Guests speaker Joshua Reil of USLS will give advice on what to do and not do if involved in a self Defense action. Mayor Brian Hobbs of Newkirk will discuss the 2020 Election.
Giving tree applications taken
The Chamber of Commerce is now taking applications for children 0-18 years old that are in need of some assistance purchasing items for Christmas. This program is completely confidential and applications can be picked up at the Chamber office, 102 E. Grand, Monday-Thursday 9-4 and Friday 9-12. We ask that only parents or legal guardians fill out the application. The deadline for applications will be on Monday, December 7 at noon. American Legion postpones meeting
The American Legion Post 71 is postponing its annual meeting until further notice due to spike in COVID-19 cases.

Tonkawa Lions meeting each Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Heritage Room at the First National Bank of Oklahoma.

A new shipment of Tonkawa Buccaneer face masks are available at the Central Office at the Tonkawa Mid-Hi/Highschool site. Masks may be purchased for $10 each Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Go Bucs!!
No computers at library
Until further notice, the Tonkawa Public Library will no longer offer access to public computers. This is a precaution taken to keep both the patrons and employees safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The library building is open only for those wishing to check out or return materials, fax, or have copies made. The library building is not available for the following activities: Sitting, resting, chatting, studying, meetings, cell phone use, laptop or tablet use.
Donate to weight room project
