Christopher (CJ) Ballard will be writing Buc Blab for The Tonkawa News this school year, editor Lyle Becker announced this week.
Ballard is a senior at Tonkawa high school and the son of Terry and Cathy Ballard., 605 East Oklahoma, Tonkawa, OK 74653
Activities include 4 years in baseball, 2 years in Allstate Vocal, 2 years in basketball, and 2 years in Pioneer tech.
Awards include 2 years of Allstate chorus, Completed Firefighting course and EMT Basic, and 2 years baseball area all star.
Special Interests nclude Firefighting and EMT, storm spotting, and filming, and city work.
Hobbies are Working out, helping others, learning about old Kay County history, fishing, sports, filming and editing, speaking during church and motivationally speaking, and also exploring.
He s currently taking his EMT and Firefighting class at Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City trying to be hired locally at the end of the year. “I am crazy about helping others, baseball, firefighting, and helping my community. I am so glad I am able to be writing the Buc Blab this year. I will keep you updated on the wild and exciting events happening year round with THS,” he said.
